Hey There

I found makeup at a time when I was searching for passion and direction. I enrolled in the New York Makeup Academy, unsure of what that meant at that time. There I acquired skills and techniques that allowed me to  execute looks I had tried to understand watching tutorial after tutorial. The most rewarding part of my experience though was finding a new way to express myself. I was comfortable and confident displaying looks that truly reflected how I felt inside.

After completing  my makeup certification I participated in New York fashion week and fell in love. I felt so alive in the chaos. The environment, collaborating, and  seeing all of the visions come together was inspiring. I will never forget the feeling of satisfaction watching my model walk down the runway for the first time, it was surreal and a highlight of a lifetime. I went on to work at a makeup school and a few more fashion opportunities. I eventually transitioned to retail places like Sephora and Ulta. Working in retail opened up my eyes to the realization that there are a lot of people like me who are not sure of where to start. I also met people who had become shells of themselves, no longer felt beautiful or society had told them things like glitter, colors or bold looks are not appropriate. This alone inspires me everyday to help one person at a time! It is my honor and joy to help people feel beautiful in their own skin and push the boundaries of what they think they are capable of.
